Super Dollfie Msd
I’m thinking about buying a BJD?
But I don’t have enough money (willpower) to save up for a Super Dollfie, so I’m thinking about buying an MSD from Volks.
But they only have Assembly kits. Are they good for new BJD owners? I need a good opinion on Assembly kits, because I want to buy Volks MSD Myu renewed. I’m okay with buying an Assembly kit, I just need to know if they are difficult to put together?

Some company’s assembly kits just need the head attached.
I think Volks assembly kits are totally unstrung and should come with instructions.
And some are very difficult like Alchemic Labo’s Unoa which comes unsanded, with some large clumps of resin where the mold was poured, and needing glue to attach the hip ball, then must be strung. But first you have to get the head painted.
So if Volks kits are just unstrung and have the faceup (face painting) already done on the face, then that will not be very hard. And if you make a mistake you can buy another stringing kit from Volk as well as Kips if your BJD’s string uses those. If the face painting is not done, that is difficult to do well and requires special materials including a toxic sealing spray. But you can find BJD artists to try to paint it to your description (some artists are better than others and usually cost more)
